And there is work to do as I am once again reminded that the world is not going to become a kinder and more loving and just place on its own. (We always knew it wouldn&#8217;t, we have been fighting and working for a long time.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> So I made a plan, and this plan might be of use to others. Each day I will consult these three lists and try to do as many of these things as I have capacity for. When my personal capacity is low I&#8217;ll lean to the left hand column. When my capacity is higher, I&#8217;ll push to the center and the right hand list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Self-Care and Sustainability<\/strong><br>Tend to your own recovery\/healing\/sobriety as needed<br><br>Hydrate<br><br>Move your body in healthy and joyful ways<br><br>Stretch and tend to physical therapy as needed<br><br>Eat some fruits or vegetables<br><br>Take a nap or sleep in<br><br>Personal Grooming and\/or wear something that makes you feel good<br><br>Put yourself in the hands of healers (all sorts)<br><br>Fun stuff and humor<br><br>Inspiration and beauty<br><br>Creating or expressing yourself<br><br>Nature and getting outside<br><br>Cozy stuff<br><br>Personal environmental control (cleaning, tidying, decorating, organizing)<br><br>Talk to someone who listens well<br><br>Learn something or solve a puzzle or otherwise exercise your brain<\/td><td><strong>Direct Circle of Care<\/strong><br><br>Check on someone you know, reach out<br><br>Love on people: birthdays, holidays, thank you cards, or random acts of love<br><br>Respond to need: mutual aid, meal trains, rides, etc.<br><br>Support or show up for a local business, artist, cause, or event<br><br>Create times of social connection, host a gathering<br><br>Give someone the gift of your attention or time<br><br>Lovingly care for something or someone (pet, child, plant, garden, etc.)<br><br>Volunteer in your local community<br><br>Spread cheer (decorate, be cheerful with others, give out treats, etc)<br><br><br><br><\/td><td><strong>Larger World<\/strong><br><br>Give $ to a cause\u00a0<br><br>Advocacy Actions (small is fine!)<br><br>Show up and witness (vigils, rallies, marches, etc)<br><br>Direct actions of resistance and refusal (big and small)<br><br>Educate yourself and others<br><br>Model responsible and values based living and choices<br><br>Volunteer or otherwise support larger organizations and movements<br><br>Share your ideas, visions, and dreams for a better world<br><br><br><br><br><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh goodness, I am tired.
